Be plantwise and don’t plant large Eucalyptus trees near buildings, carparks, playgrounds etc as they can do this as shown in pictures.
There are a few small flowering trees that will suit a small garden.

If you like a small tree with a weeping habit consider weeping Plums, Apples, Cherries, Mullberries, Birches, Elms, Maples, Gleditsias and Grevilleas.
Small standard trees
Trees known as standards are a good small tree such as a Fig (Ficus), Lilly pilly, the native frangipan (Hymenosporum flavum), Olives, Bay trees or Magnolia little gems (Magnolia grandiflora.
Small evergreen trees
For small evergreen trees try Agonis flexuosa, After dark or Burgandy, The Irish strawberry tree (Arbutus unedo), Banksia marginata, Citrus trees, Dwarf Eucalyptus ( Corymbia ficifolia, Baby orange, Baby scarlet, Burgandy, Calypso Queen, Summer beauty, Wild sunset or Wildfire), Eucalyptus leucoxylon Euky dwarf, Michelia figo, Magnolia grandiflora ‘Kay Pareis’, or ‘Teddy bear’.
